Neveron, For Real This Time!

Friday, July 25th, 2008
Well, here goes another blogpost about Wurm.
So, things didn’t exacly work out where me and Ben were living. The asshole, *cough* I mean, ni- *cough* I MEAN fuckfa- *cough* I MEAN assmunch- *cough* I FUCKING MEAN person, that we were living across the highway from just locked us out one day, with no reason. So, me and Ben start doing stuff to prepare to live on our own, and whatnot. One day, I come on, and Ben tells me to see if I can found where a little HS used to be, that was right by his old HS. A good fifteen minutes later, I’m smiling at the event window, which provides me with a “The homestead of Misterangry’s Piece Of Land has just been founded by Misterangry.”
Few moments later, me and Ben smile, as we see the plan for ‘Misterangry’s Cottage’.
Fast forward a week.
I smile, as I see “The homestead of Misterangry’s Piece Of Land has just been disbanded by Misterangry.” in the event window. Shortly followed by a “The village of Neveron has just been founded by Misterangry.” :D
Unfortunatley, two seconds after that, a PM from a person named Randnar comes in. Now, Randnar is a nice fellow. In not so nice words, he basically said that I made it so that he couldn’t found his village, and, he wasn’t too happy about it… Oh well, life will go on. Anyway, we finally got the village completed. We even got two citizens we don’t know through steam. The village really looks nice, and, I decided to map it out in Mapper today.
Neveron, in its current form

 And there it is.

Wondering what is what, and why there are numbers in the buildings? Well, to explain what they are, of course!

  • 1. The Eastern gatehouse. This is the primary gatehouse, and the only unlocked gatehouse. The path also has a sign right next to the highway.
  • 2. The Northern gatehouse. This would have been the primary gatehouse, but then the Eastern gatehouse was planned, and I decided I wanted to make that the primary.
  • 3. The Southern gatehouse. I’ve been considering if I should unlock it, or not.
  • 4. My house. Er, was my house. It’s goppend’s house now.
  • 5. Ben’s hou- Er, was Ben’s house. Now it’s mine.
  • 6. Schizoprenic’s house. Schizoprenic apparently helped shape the land it’s positioned on, and is a hard worker.
  • 7. A reserved house, for one of my other friends whom has yet to even do the noob missions.
  • 8. Shawnmc’s house. Was reserved for McMissile. Shawnmc is some random noob who was on the side of the highway, trying to get food from a pig as I was out, sprout hunting.
  • 9. A spare house. Was reserved for Boba Fett (McMissile’s brother.)
  • 10. The Stuffectory. The village, stuff making house. The name is taken from one of the buildings an old friend whom lived across the highway back at the camp from I built.

Notice the arrows that look like they’re going up, in a row of nine? Those tiles are ‘safe tiles’ as I like to call them. Safe tiles are just basically tiles that stretch from one level of a structure to another, so as to keep the majority of it flat. The two grey tiles are mines. The mine Southwest of the Eastern gatehouse has a recently implemented item; a wooden mine door, on it. That explains the lack of fences around it.

Now for some shots of it, in-game.

And I think that pretty much concludes this blogpost. If you want to see it for yourself, toss me a message on Steam, and I’ll tell you where to go.
