You all know I bought a Gmod server a while ago. Well, it’s gone now, and never to come back.
Here’s how it goes:
It was fine, until I tried to add mods to the server. I attempted to upload a single script and the connection timed out. So, I go to the forums, find out that they are having internet issues. Next day, it’s fixed. The script uploads fine. Two, three, and four are fine. So I decide to try uploading PHX. After five minutes, the connection times out. Go back to the forums, no internet issues. I try again. A fail. Again, another fail. The fourth time worked. I launch the server, then join it. Spawn a tube, works. Spawn a rocket, it’s an effect! I go check, there are a few folders missing. I try to re-upload them, fail. So I try something else, a little but not all uploads. This happened with every mod. So, I go to the forums and ask for a cancellation. The response: “Just don’t renew it.”
So, I ask for a refund. I say I am disatisfied with the service. Their response: “We can’t process the refund. We need a reason too. Your disatisfaction with the service is not a valid reason.”
I should have just donated my money to them!
$80 put to waste.
